While Michele Morrone’s love for music is known, not many know that this actor-singer loves the passion Indians have for music. In a telephonic interview, the 365 Days actor who plays the role of Escudero Massimo, says, “I know you Indians have a huge passion for music and that you guys are really into music of all kinds and that, I feel, is something very beautiful. I really like people who have so much passion for something. I think that is what we both have, we share that same passion and love for music. It doesn’t matter if it is Indian music or American or Italian. Music is just a form of art and that is what I love.”
Despite his love for music and featuring in a music video starring Jacqueline Fernandez, last year, and his deep regard for his fans in India, Michele does not have much knowledge about anything else, when it comes to India. He says, “Yes I am aware of India and of the place called Mumbai. I like the culture and you guys have lots of colours and smells, spices and huge elephants. It is like another world for me. I am aware that I have a solid audience in India and I am grateful for that and feel so blessed. Indian fans are passionate about my work and I am glad and I thank them.”
The singer-actor went through mental health issues last year and created a song dedicated to it. “It is a song that I dedicated to a very tough moment in my life when I discovered I had mental issues. I was diagnosed with a form of bipolarism called cyclothymic disorder, and I decided to dedicate Double to that.”
