Home Alone’s original $5 Million house is now available for sale
The original house from Macaulay Culkin’s first Home Alone movie is now officially on sale for over $5 million dollars.
Home Alone fans who have a spare $5 million or so in the bank now have the chance to purchase the original house from the 1990 classic movie.
However, instead of its original ‘scary’ elements, it now features a completely renovated modern design along with its very own basketball court.
In a video posted to TikTok and shared across social media, a tour begins with an opening line: “Welcome to one of the most famous houses in America.”
“For the first time in 12 years, this home is for sale.”
The tour video proceeds to show how the house has been transformed since the original movie.
From the iconic ‘staircase’ to its ‘creepy basement with the radiator monster’, various modern redesigns are displayed throughout the above video proving its worth.
Now, the Home Alone house ‘isn’t so creepy anymore,’ as the tour guide states.

The house now comes equipped with its very own movie theatre room, where fans of the original movie can ‘watch Home Alone‘ in as the tour guide continues to say.
“You can watch Home Alone in the Home Alone house.”
Along with the theatre, the home now comes with a ‘3 point line’ with ’25 foot ceilings’.
Its original ‘hectic kitchen’ has also seen a complete transformation that ‘isn’t so hectic anymore’.
Additionally, its ‘scary attic’ isn’t ‘so scary anymore’, it is now a ‘beautiful bedroom’.
All together, the redesigned home is now worth $5,250,000 dollars.
1990’s Home Alone was originally directed by Chris Columbus and composed by Hollywood legend John Williams, with it earning now just under $500 million at the box office.
Macaulay Culkin starred as Kevin McCallister, before being catapulted as arguably the most famous child actor in the industry during the 1990s.
Actors Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern starred as the movie’s original villains, Harry Lime and Marv Muchins, two characters who have been engrained as pop culture legends in the movie world.
Alongside Macaulay starred his younger brother Kieran, who played his in-movie brother Fuller McCallister.
Beetlejuice star Catherine O’Hara starred as their mother, who also joined Macaulay during his Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony last year in December.
