Mark Harmon Returns to ‘Freaky Friday’ – Here’s Why Fans Are Buzzing!
It’s been almost three years since Mark Harmon last graced NCIS screens, but he’s back in action and fans couldn’t be more thrilled! Mark is set to reprise his role as Ryan, Jamie Lee Curtis’ fiancé-turned-husband, in the much-anticipated sequel, Freaky Friday 2.
Originally seen in the 2003 Disney hit, Harmon will join Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan in this sequel. Alongside these returning stars, Freaky Friday 2 will also feature Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Rosalind Chao, with new additions Julia Butters, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Sophia Hammons. The film is slated for release in 2025.
Fans have been ecstatic on social media, with one person tweeting, “Thrilled to see Mark Harmon in Freaky Friday 2 tbh!” and another expressing excitement, “Because two of my favorites are coming back, I’ll definitely give it a watch!”
Mark Harmon hinted at this comeback during a November 2023 appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, teasing that something exciting was in the works. The sequel will follow the characters Tess and Anna Coleman, played by Curtis and Lohan, as they deal with the challenges of blending families, discovering that “lightning might indeed strike twice.”
