Darrell Sheets’ last known moments before his sudden passing at 67 have now come to light

Storage Wars star Darrell “The Gambler” Sheets has died at the age of 67, reportedly from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Darrell appeared on 163 episodes of the popular A&E series Storage Wars across 13 years. He retired from the show after season 12 but returned for season 13 in 2021, and remained as a buyer in seasons 14 and 15, as well. He was found in the early hours of Wednesday, April 22, in a Lake Havasu City property.

“On April 22, 2026, at approximately 0200 hours, officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of Chandler Drive in reference to a reported deceased individual. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject who suffered from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” the Lake Havasu Police Department said in a release.
