Princess Kate recorded a special introduction for Royal Carols: Together At Christmas, the broadcast of her third carol service at Westminster Abbey, to shine a spotlight on what Christmas means to her.
The program, which will air at 7:45 p.m. on December 24 on ITV1 and ITVX, opens with a welcome from the Princess of Wales that was recorded last month amidst the final preparations for the service, shared by Kensington Palace.
“Christmas is a time when we come together and celebrate the birth of a newborn baby,” Princess Kate says. “The arrival of every baby is a precious and momentous time, it brings us together to reflect on new beginnings and brings hope for the future.”
The Princess of Wales dedicated the December 8 carol service to all those who support and uplift children. In her introduction, she recognized the inspiring guests who were invited to the service for their dedication to the cause, including midwives, health visitors, nursery teachers, and baby bank volunteers.
