THE VATICAN EXORCIST: RUSSELL CROWE CONFRONTS THE FORCES OF EVIL

Based on the archives of Father Gabriele Amorth, The Vatican Exorcist plunges Russell Crowe into an investigation combining possession and occult mysteries. An esoteric horror film, to be released on Netflix on March 10, 2025 and already available on Prime Video.

Directed by Julius Avery(Overlord), The Vatican Exorcist is a blend of horror, fantasy and biopic, inspired by the life of the real-life Father Gabriele Amorth, the Vatican’s official exorcist.

The story follows Father Amorth, played by Russell Crowe, as he is sent to investigate the case of a possessed young boy. What begins as a classic exorcism takes an unexpected turn when the priest uncovers a centuries-old conspiracy that the Church has been trying to erase from history.

Between demonic manifestations, occult investigations and confrontations with the forces of evil, the film offers a heavy, eerie atmosphere, where the main character’s faith is put to the test. Daniel Zovatto and Alex Essoe complete the cast of this horrific thriller inspired by true events.Synopsis: Based on the true archives of Father Gabriele Amorth, the Vatican’s chief exorcist.
